Media Network Bhutan is an organization in exile established for freedom of expression and complete press freedom in Bhutan. It comprises young and dynamic media persons, journalists and creative writers to open the floodgates of freedom of expression. With the proclamation of constitution of kingdom of Bhutan, MNB anticipates the freedom of press and expression as envisaged in it. MNB is an independent media organization. It advocates for the guarantee of Freedom of expression and press, considering it as a major component for a democratic set up of the nation. It also explains the extents of people’s participation in governance. A guaranteed freedom of expression and press freedom is a must in democracy. The network also alerts government, political forces and every component of the state to comply with on its responsibilities and moral obligations.MNB believes the press as the fourth organ of the state and strives to achieve it in true sense.
